Driveways
Your driveway probably takes more daily punishment than any other concrete surface on the property, so it needs to be poured right the first time. We handle new driveway pours and full replacements, working out drainage, fall, and the right finish for how the space is used, whether that’s a plain broom finish or something more decorative. If your current driveway still has good bones but the surface has seen better days, concrete resurfacing is often a more cost-effective way to bring it back to life than tearing it out and starting again.
Footpaths
Concrete footpaths take a steady flow of foot traffic and, if there’s any grade to the property, some runoff as well, so a flat, even surface with the right fall matters more than it might seem. We pour paths that connect the parts of your property that get used daily, from the front gate to the door or around to the side yard, finished to match the rest of your concreting where it makes sense. A well-poured path should stay level and crack-free for years, not become a trip hazard within the first winter.
Retaining Walls
Sloping blocks are common across plenty of Central Coast suburbs, and a properly built retaining wall is what keeps soil in place while giving you usable, level ground to actually work with. We build concrete retaining walls sized to suit the height and load they’re holding back, with footings, reinforcement, and drainage considered from the start so water doesn’t build up behind the wall and push it out over time. Poorly built retaining walls are one of the more common problems we get called out to fix, which is exactly why getting the fundamentals right from day one matters.
Small Shed Slabs
A shed is only as good as the slab underneath it, and a lot of backyard sheds start sinking or cracking within a few years because the base wasn’t properly prepared. We pour shed slabs sized and reinforced to suit what’s going on top, whether that’s a small garden shed, a workshop, or something larger, with the site properly compacted and levelled first. Getting the thickness and reinforcement right from the outset means you won’t be dealing with a sinking or cracked slab, or a shed door that no longer lines up, a few years down the track.
Steps
Concrete steps need to be right in a way that’s easy to overlook until they’re wrong, uneven rises, the wrong tread depth, or a lack of grip can all turn a simple set of steps into a genuine trip hazard. We pour steps to suit the level change on your property, whether that’s a short run up to the front door or a longer flight down a sloping backyard, with consistent rises and a non-slip finish factored in. It’s a smaller job on paper, but one where getting the details right really counts.
Concrete Extensions
Extending your home with an alfresco area, patio, or outdoor entertaining space usually starts with a solid concrete base, and it’s worth getting that stage right before anything else goes on top. We pour concrete extensions to tie in with your existing outdoor space, taking levels, drainage, and how the area will actually be used into account from the start.
